Day One Of Deployment

I look at him and I am over joyed even though the time we have together is limited. He kisses me and my world stops just for a second. Then everything from there goes by so fast he is in his dress whites walking me down the ramp as I'm trying to hold back tears. Then they just come rushing down when he says to me your my life and I have no clue what I am going to do with out you. I love him so much I cant believe my best friend is gone. But now its time to get it together I know he isn't coming home for a while and there is nothing I can do about that. But it is time to start Registering for school and finding a job. Surrounding myself with positive friends. Day one wasn't that bad I have gotten three emails and I will most likely get a phone call tomorrow yay! The best part of me is gone but he will be back before I know it. So as I end this tomorrow is Day two! Yay One more day down!
